Here at The Henderson Gallery we always have a number of exciting things in the works, some of our most recent projects involve a newer member of our team Gurramin who in addition to being the new face of our Sunday habitation has also stepped up to join the team of artists teaching art in our social art classes here at The Henderson Gallery, it doesn’t stop there though, Gurramin will also be offering a number of other beneficial and educational opportunities to those those would like to get involved.
Gurramin, A Cultural Immersion Experience
This program aims to teach about First Nations protocol and sensitivities and provide a broad history integrating the audience into a cultural experience which connects with First Nations people and their land. programs include having Gurramin guide you through acknowledgement to country, First nations storytelling, the power of the didgeridoo and First Nations education.
Those who have been to our recent Sunday Habitations with Gurramin will know that Sundays have got a new live music spot in South Brisbane.
As the new face of our Sunday habitations, Gurramin brings his unique brand of engagement to The Henderson Gallery. Firing up at our new time of 12pm playing through til 2pm. Tasty food and beverages available. Free Admission. All Ages.
